Shimmering Night

Music’s biggest night was all about the shimmer, glitter and metallics. The artists took the best they had (aside from being amazing performers) to the red carpet on a night that’s about dressing to impress. Bringing they’re A game, top celebrities  competed to receive the title of best dressed.  Most of them did an amazing job and designers did not fail to impress.

Clever as always Katy Perry had the most creative and amazing dress. I saw this dress last week while peeking at the Spring 2014 couture shows and instantly thought it had something different and edgy about it. Other than that I also thought only someone sharp and out there could pull it off, whom better than Miss. Perry. The Valentino couture gown inspired by Verdi’s La Traviata had 1,600 hours worth of work done only on its embroidery.  This was absolutely the perfect dress to wear at the Grammy’s.

Glowing, Ciara made an amazing entrance in an all gold Pucci gown. The soon to be mommy wore her baby bump revealing she’s expecting yet looking flawless and beautiful as ever. I got really impressed by John Legend’s wife supermodel Chrissy Teigen. She looked beautiful and super sexy in a gold ensemble and a V plunging neckline, she definitely made an impact as more than the wife of this amazing artist. Last but not least the hated and loved Taylor Swift. In my opinion she looked like the perfect Barbie doll. Her Gucci chain dress was just absolute perfection. She may get criticized for they way she makes music or her attitude but there is nothing bad to say about this look. She was enviable by every single girl.

All around, they went all out, creating the ambience of glamour and stardom.
